The X Factor Results Recap: Final Four Revealed In Another Emotional Shocker!

Following Lenny Kravitz's appearance, host Steve Jones introduces a montage of last night's performances and judges' remarks. All of the judges seem to agree that Chris Rene's performance of his original song was the highlight of the previous night.

The final five are welcomed back to the stage with their mentors as Paula Abdul, whose groups have all been eliminated, watches from the judges panel.

Marcus Canty and Rachel Crow will be singing for their survival tonight. It's the third time for Marcus, who plans to sing from the heart. A teary-eyed Rachel assures Steve that she's okay, and tells Marcus she loves him.

Marcus does his ‘save me' song first. It's I'm Goin' Down by Mary J. Blige. He really gives it his all and it's a very strong, heartfelt performance.

Rachel sings I Would Rather Go Blind by Beyonce. Her performance is off-the-charts, mature beyond her years, and infused with emotion. The crowd goes crazy. Simon almost seems to tear up.

The judges must now decide which act to send home. Marcus, who has been in the bottom three times, would seem to be the logical choice, particularly since Rachel just had a ‘moment' with her ‘save me' song.Take advantage of our chanelfashionhandbags today.
L.A. says they were both great, and he's really torn. As a man of principal, he stands by his man and sends Rachel home. Simon immediately says he's sending Marcus home, adding that he'll miss him. Paula says they both did amazing but Rachel blew her away – she sends Marcus home. Nicole cries when it's her turn. She says she can't make the decision and wants it to go to deadlock – she sends home Rachel to accomplish that.

The judges have lost their power and it is all up to America's votes now. The act with the lowest number of votes will be leaving. The act going home is…Rachel Crow. Marcus Canty goes through to the semi-final.

Rachel falls to the stage and sobs uncontrollably. Simon, L.A., and her mother rush to her side. Emotions and shock flood the place as Nicole has also dissolved into tears in Paula's arms, seemingly feeling responsible, perhaps due to her inability to make a decision.
